12 ways to de-commercialize Christmas (from Kids Ahoy!'s site)

Link

I really appreciate this article because it's a good reminder of how much time, thought, and resources we've put into the gift-giving part of Christmas. (Too much, really...)

If it were up to me, the perfect Christmas would be having all of my loved ones in one place, getting up on Christmas morning to drink rich, dark tsokolate, spending the whole day exchanging stories and cracking jokes, and getting all dolled up to take great pictures. Of course, a warm fire would be nice, too, but since we're in tropical Manila, I'd settle for the tsokolate.

And the perfect gift? Encouraging everyone else to help someone else in need, then sending lots of good vibes and positive energy the whole year 'round.

Happy December!
